We went on a mini Cork tour after CoderDojo class today, first visiting Baraveha near the source of the Blackwater. We know our route for this off by heart now, making use of wellies to save some time. Great views of The Paps & Reeks.
Next, Coomagearlahy! We tried to find a quicker route for this by spending a bit of time scouting around, but to no avail. We returned to our old route and had it logged by 17:20, passing a damaged wind turbine on the side of the service road. Amazing to see the size of it!
We expected to log Mullaganish next, but we discovered that the mast road to the top was now closed so we couldn’t drive up. We decided that it wasn’t worth the long road walk, so drove towards the city to log Rathmacullig, followed by a visit to Cobh to log Great Island
